About Fireguard
Built for Veterans, by Veterans.
Fireguard exists to help Veterans understand, access, and use the benefits they have earned.
Too many Veterans leave service without clear guidance on what they qualify for or how programs work together. Fireguard simplifies that process by providing practical tools, trusted resources, and straightforward education so Veterans can make informed decisions for themselves and their families.
Fireguard was created by a Veteran who understands firsthand how confusing transition can be.
This platform is built from lived experience navigating claims, education benefits, housing programs, and state-level resources. The mission is simple:
Make sure no Veteran leaves earned benefits on the table.
The spotlight is not on one person.
It's on serving the Veteran community.

Fireguard currently offers tools and guidance across key areas:
VA Benefits & Claims
- VA Disability Calculator
- VA Disability Pay Calculator
- AI-Powered VA Claims Assistant
Education
- GI Bill guidance
- Hazlewood Act (Texas) information
Housing & Land
- VA Home Loan Calculator
- Texas Veterans Land Board programs:
- Veteran Home Loan Program
- Veterans Home Improvement Program (VHIP)
- Veterans Land Loans
Every tool is designed to be clear, practical, and easy to use, especially for Veterans navigating these systems for the first time.
Fireguard currently focuses on Texas resources, but this is just the start.
The long-term goal is to expand into every U.S. state, adding state-specific benefits, transition resources, and planning tools so Veterans can find support wherever they live.
Fireguard may generate revenue through merchandise, ethical partnerships, and optional premium tools in the future.
But our standard remains firm:
No Veteran in need should ever have to pay to understand or access their earned benefits.
In the military, fireguard meant staying awake and protecting the team.
Fireguard carries that mission forward, standing watch for Veterans long after discharge.
