Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Fireguard (www.fireguardcvo.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the site.

Description of Service

Fireguard is a veteran-owned resource hub that provides free tools, calculators, educational content, and an AI-powered VA claims assistant for U.S. military veterans and their families. Fireguard also sells branded merchandise through a third-party fulfillment partner (Printify).

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account or use Fireguard. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 13 years old.

Accounts

Certain features, including the VA Claims Assistant and notes, require a free account. When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your password secure
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Account deletion removes your personal information, conversations, claims, and notes. See our Privacy Policy for details on data retention.

Usage Limits

Fireguard's free tools and AI assistant are subject to usage limits to ensure fair access for all users. Current limits include restrictions on daily and monthly messages, number of conversation threads, messages per thread, and message length. These limits may change at any time. Attempting to circumvent usage limits (including by creating multiple accounts) may result in account suspension.

AI Assistant Disclaimer

The Fireguard VA Claims Assistant is an AI-powered educational tool. It provides information based on publicly available VA regulations, including 38 CFR, the PACT Act, and official VA guidance documents.

The assistant does not provide legal, medical, or financial advice.

• Fireguard is not the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
• Fireguard is not a law firm, medical provider, or financial advisor
• AI-generated responses may contain errors or outdated information
• The VA makes all final rating, compensation, and benefits decisions
• Always verify information with official sources at VA.gov or the eCFR

For representation before the VA, contact an accredited Veterans Service Organization (VSO), attorney, or claims agent.

Calculator Disclaimer

The VA Disability Calculator and VA Loan Calculator are educational estimation tools. All calculations are estimates based on user-provided inputs. Actual ratings, compensation amounts, loan terms, and fees will be determined by the VA and your lender. Use these tools for planning purposes only.

Merchandise

Fireguard sells branded merchandise through a Printify-powered store. All merchandise purchases are processed, produced, and fulfilled by Printify. Printify's terms of service and return policy apply to all merchandise orders. See our Shipping & Returns page for details.

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to Fireguard, including chat messages and notes. By using the service, you grant Fireguard a limited license to process your content through our AI providers (OpenAI and Anthropic) solely for the purpose of generating responses to your queries. We do not use your content for advertising, marketing, or model training.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the service
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation

Limitation of Liability

Fireguard is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fireguard shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated content, calculator estimates, or any information provided on the site.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of Fireguard after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
